This guide contains the exact steps I take to write children’s picture books. There are two versions: a single-sheet guide and a workbook.
I love printing worksheets and working directly on paper, but I’ve recently grown to love using Goodnotes on my iPad. This file is a PDF which is perfect for printing or using in an app such as Goodnotes. Of course, you can always copy the steps onto a page in a notebook or in your favorite word pressing software.
I highly recommend starting your writing adventure with children’s picture books, because they are short, fun, and challenging despite their brevity.
You can use this and the children’s book writing advice on NotNowImWriting.com to write your own children’s book. If you are looking for a little more guidance, consider the How to Write a Children’s Book course which is available on Skillshare and Udemy.
